WELCOME to the Catawba Valley Paralegal Association website. We hope that you find information of interest in our pages. The Board of Directors, officers and committee members continue to work diligently to make the Catawba Valley Paralegal Association ("CVPA") a successful professional association. We strive to make our members feel that being involved in the CVPA is worthwhile and a positive influence on their lives.
We continue to focus on growing our membership. We encourage paralegals (certified and non-certified), legal assistants, paralegal students, paralegal educators and those who work in the judicial system to join the CVPA. Having a larger pool of members will give us the opportunity to bring in different types of speakers and will allow committees and the Board of Directors to maintain fresh ideas. If you are interested in becoming a member, please complete the membership application below. Contact us if you have any questons about membership or wish to become a member.
We offer eight informative and interesting CPEs each year, two of which are ethics related. Some of our presenters have been the Clerk of Court, Register of Deeds, private investigators, various attorneys and even an author. We so appreciate all our presenters for taking time out of their busy schedules to share their knowlege and stories with us. Check the CPE tab on our website to check dates and topics of future CPEs.
Keeping the CVPA successful takes commitment by all its members. We have accomplished quite a lot in the past few years, but there is still more we need to do to make the Catawba Valley Paralegal Association a first-rate professional association.
