WELCOME to the Catawba Valley Paralegal Association's website!  We hope that you find information of interest on our site.  The Board of Directors, officers and committee members have worked diligently to make the Catawba Valley Paralegal Association a successful professional association.  We strive to make our members feel that being involved in the CVPA is worthwhile and a positive influence on their lives.  

We have held successful fundraisers which have enabled us to contribute to the CVPA Lynn Price Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to a paralegal technology student at Western Piedmont Community College. For a number of years our members have assisted with the North Carolina Mock Trial Regional Competition as jurors, scorekeepers and courtroom monitors. Our membership has grown through our yearly membership drive which extends membership invitations to North Carolina certified paralegals from across the state and paralegal students from our local community colleges. We believe it is important to provide membership access to as many certified paralegals and future paralegals that we can reach so they have access to the eight CPEs we offer each year as well as have the opportunity to network with their peers. With the help of our members, we have been able to bring in a wide variety of speakers so there is always something new to learn.   

Keeping the CVPA successful takes commitment by all its members. We have accomplished quite a bit over the years and will continue to accomplish great things in order to make the Catawba Valley Paralegal Association a first-rate professional association.
